How does low emissivity glass works?

Low-E glass (low emissivity glass) is to apply a ultra thin metal oxide layer on one side of glass. This layer practically invisible to naked eyes, and make the glass to increase energy exchange by radiation between the two face of glass. Thus low emissivity glass contributes to energy saving since it serves as regulator by capturing as much as possible the energy input of the sun, while reducing the loss of heat.

In the summer, Low-E glass filters long-wave solar rediation - reducing solar heat gain in your home as a result of the sun's direct rays. In the winter, Low-E glass takes on two responsibilities: first it lets warm, short-wave rays into the home for natural warmth, secondly the low-E glass heps
block the warm air inside, rather than allowing it to escape through the window pane, so your heating systems runs less to maintain a comfortable temperature.

As a part of any of window energysaving systems, low-E glass provides the folloqing benedits:

- save on energy costs for both heating and cooling
- UV rays control, that color fading of interior furnishings will be reduced, such as carpets, furniture
- please make sure purchasing qualified energy saving glass products to help you to get these benefits.
